Client Care Assistant - Dalston

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Client Care Assistant to join the team at our Dalston practice, in East London. The Dalston clinic based very close to the city centre is one of our nine 24hr Centres and is equipped with state of the art facilities allowing us to provide your pets with the best veterinary treatment.

The successful candidate will assist a team of supportive Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses and Patient Care Assistants.

What you’ll be doing?

Your average day will include a variety of; accounts, dealing with insurance claims, paying off cheques and BACS, reviewing and auctioning aged debt, dealing with a busy switchboard and arranging call backs, welcoming and assisting all clients, scheduling appointments and entering lab results into the client's files, taking payments, ensuring the consult rooms are fully stocked, general administration duties and ensuring the reception area is always kept clean and tidy.

What will you bring to the team?

Reception or customer-facing experience is essential for this role, as is a love for animals. However, no prior animal care experience is required. The position would suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and exemplary communication skills. You should be able to multitask, remain calm under pressure and prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition.
